‘Poems from the Depths of a Gay Heart’ is a collection of poetry and prose from the pen of first time author Andy Lindley. Written over a period of twenty years it gives an insight into his inquisitive soul from the journey of coming out to the search for true love.
Andy Lindley was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1969 with an earlier working life in a finance background. He started a career in the Film and Television Industry as a Production Accountant in 1995. In 2000 his career led him to Melbourne, Australia where he currently resides. Andy started writing poetry and prose at age 26, originally as a coping mechanism whilst dealing with the emotional ebbs and flows of coming out. 'Poems from the Depths of a Gay Heart', his first foray into publishing, is a collection from these early works and the subsequent 20 years since.
