''I Do'' DVD
now in-store
at a special price!
I Do was one of the hits at this year's Sydney Mardi Gras Queer Screen Film Festival and we're very pleased to be able to offer this just released title at our very special price of $24.99 ($10 less than the recommended retail price)! This is an honest, charming film about a gay guy (handsome out and proud British actor, David W Ross) who is devoted to caring for his sister-in-law and niece. He's prepared to do what it takes to stay in the US for that, even marrying his best girl friend, but when he falls in love with Mano, his committments become hard to juggle... We also have a couple of new dvd releases recently seen on television : the absolutely hilarious Threesome, about what happens when a straight couple and their gay best friend try to put their partying ways behind them to raise a child together, and Please Like Me, starring gay Aussie comedian Josh Thomas.

In Another Life is the story of William Daley, a young, gay lawyer who starts out his career in an old-fashioned legal firm in Borac - a small, struggling town in country Victoria. Despite an inauspicious start working under the cantankerous senior partner, Colin Budd, William gradually establishes himself, before becoming entangled in a web of sexual abuse and corruption involving the local mayor, who is his largest client, and the local police. William deals with the matter with distinction, before becoming the target of similar allegations himself. In Another Life is a story of sex, sexuality, coming out, the abuse of power, social problems facing country towns, and trying to make it in life. The author is a former lawyer who is now a tour guide, journalist and broadcaster on Joy-FM in Melbourne. This book is based on many of his own life experiences.
