There's Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fiance‚ Christmas Eve; Nicky the good-hearted slacker and his roommate Rod - a Republican investment banker who is in the closet and terrified of anyone finding out; an Internet Porn addict called Trekkie Monster; and a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant named Kate Monster (no relation). Princeton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life, all in hilarious, witty, very infectious and totally memorable songs! The adult themes are dealt with in a way which is direct and never patronising, in fact it is refreshing to hear songs which tell it like it is - "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist", " The Internet is for Porn",  "You Can Be as Loud as the Hell You Want (When You're Makin' Love)", but with humour and charm. And "If You Were Gay" has to be the sweetest and funniest song about acceptance ever. The fact that it is sung and performed by Muppet style puppets (and a mix of humans) makes it all the more disarmingly funny and humane (and yes, there IS puppet sex!). Highly recommended for putting a smile on your face! The soundtrack is also available on cd.
