This is an honest, charming film about a gay guy (handsome out and proud British actor, David W Ross) who is devoted to caring for his sister-in-law and niece. He's prepared to do what it takes to stay in the US for that, even marrying his best girl friend, but when he falls in love with Mano, his committments become hard to juggle... We also have a couple of new dvd releases recently seen on television : the absolutely hilarious Threesome, about what happens when a straight couple and their gay best friend try to put their partying ways behind them to raise a child together, and Please Like Me, starring gay Aussie comedian Josh Thomas.

Andy Warhol's Silver Factory was part of the creative and chaotic underground of New York City during the 1960's. Factory People is a documentary compiled from over 50 hours of original interviews, plus film clips of screen tests, film footage of visitors, thousands of photos, and archival footage of what went on at the factory. Amongst the Warhol superstars having their "fifteen minutes of fame" are Lou Reed, Ultra Violet, Brigid Berlin, Mary Woronov, Bibbi Hansen and Gerald Malanga. There was plenty of sex, drugs and rock and roll amongst the creativity and madness that was the Factory, and we get to witness some of the drama that took place there on a daily basis. At almost three hours long, this is a thoroughly engrossing and fascinating peek into an important cultural and artistic period.
