The Bookshop Darlingurst aims to fill your orders as quickly as possible, however, over the years we have learnt that it is impossible to have all titles in stock at all times. If any of the items you requested are temporarily out of stock we will contact you to inform you of the expected delay.

Postage Charges
Postage and handling is charged on a PER ITEM basis according to which state you live in. These rates apply for most items, however a surcharge may be added for heavy or bulky packages. We will notify you prior to shipment if this applies to your parcel.

EXPRESS POST
Our Express Post service can save you time and money especially if you’ve ordered multiple items. Up to 3kg can be sent anywhere in Australia for $12 with next day delivery guaranteed for most metropolitan postcodes. This service depends on availability of all items and whether those items will fit into the Australia Post satchel. If you select this option, we will contact you if for any reason Express Post will not work for your order.
OVERSEAS POSTAGE
Orders to destinations outside Australia can sent by Regular Airmail, Express Courier International (ECI), or Air Express (only for packages over 2kg). Costs are determined by the method of shipping chosen and by the weight and destination country. Once we have received your order, we will calculate the price of the different shipping methods and inform you via email of the options available. Please email us if you would like to enquire about exact postage charges before you place your order. Also note: the ECI option is tracked by the postal services and an ECI package must be signed for by the recipient. We recommend this method of shipping if you have concerns about the security of your order. We cannot be held responsible for items not being delivered if you choose not to use the ECI option.
