Geraldine Turner is an Australian performing arts icon, and this new release in the 'Great Australian Voices' series features 3 CDs in a luxurious CD/Book format, with a 54 page booklet containing dozens of photos and notes.
Covering Geraldine's recordings from 1975 – 2018, it features Rare Early Demos, “The Stephen Sondheim Songbook”, Unreleased Studio & Live Recordings, plus Newly Recorded Tracks. Except for the 15 tracks on Disc Two (the reissue of world-first ''The Stephen Sondheim Songbook''), all have never been released before. Also included are Geraldine's newly recorded four tracks from earlier this year - two from her plays with music, a fabulous song by Jacques Brel, and a song written for her by Tim Minchin.
