Welcome to The Bookshop Darlinghurst! For almost forty years The Bookshop Darlinghurst has been the most comprehensive source of books, magazines, calendars and DVDs for Sydney and Australia's LGBTI communities. Located in the heart of Sydney's famous Oxford Street, our shop has been a cherished hub for the local and international queer communities. If you pay us a visit in-store you'll be welcomed by our friendly, knowledgeable staff who will help you navigate our vast range of titles. We also offer the very best of our range of titles on our website for those customers who prefer to shop online and highlight new releases and special offers regularly through our email newsletters and social media. In May 2020 we were the recipient of a Small Business Grant - Covid Relief from the City of Sydney. This enabled us to upgrade and enhance our website in many ways including a visual makeover, some much needed maintenance, and to feature a greater diversity of titles. Our website now better reflects the comprehensive range of titles that we have on the shelves of our physical shop, including more lesbian and trans titles, black lives/antiracism titles, academic/queer theory titles, and also more general interest titles.
