Isn't it strange, how we decorate pain?

Decorating Pain is dedicated to those who helped me survive, as well as all the people who told me I would never amount to anything - least of all a poet. The collection is a series of poems in two parts, each illustrating a different facet of my diagnoses. I carry my pain in and on my body, as scars and tattoos and tattoos covering scars. Pain made visceral, then decorated.
